About Space Beach

Formed in 2023 in the quiet corners of New England, Space Beach is a three-piece band built on atmosphere, memory, and the feeling of distance—both literal and emotional. Their music blends lo-fi textures, washed-out guitars, and surf-tinged melancholy into songs that feel like they’ve been playing quietly in another room all along.

From the beginning, Space Beach has chosen to keep their identities hidden—not as a gimmick, but as a creative boundary worth protecting. By removing their names and faces from the spotlight, the band creates from a place of total freedom. No image to maintain, no expectations to meet—just sound, feeling, and instinct. For them, the music isn’t about who’s behind it. It’s about the world it creates once it’s out there.

Their first two albums established a mood: hazy, nostalgic, and emotionally distant in a way that resonated with listeners who’d ever felt stuck between growing up and staying lost. Now, with their third album NOVOCAINE, Space Beach expands their sound just slightly—bringing in sharper hooks and a pop-leaning edge without losing the layered melancholy that defines their work.

At its core, Space Beach is a project about what it means to drift. To watch things fall apart slowly. To remember something that maybe never happened. To stay anonymous in a world obsessed with identity—and to make music anyway.
